Day 1 Writing - April 7th
We started writing fractured fairy tales before we left for our 3 week spring break. Some of you had a chance to pick which fairy tale you were going to twist and some were still deciding.
1. Think about the ways the Cinderella tales were changed. Either they had a different setting, or characters, or something significant to the story was different. How could you change the fairy tale you chose in one or more of these ways?
2. Set a timer and work on your fractured fairy tale for 20 minutes. Your goal is to finish it by the end of the week.
3. If you are already finished with your fairy tale, you can work on your Biography project for 20 minutes or go to www.shannonisteaching.com and click on the Kids Corner tab and pick one of the poem videos to watch. Write the poem and post it for me.
